Baruch Ata Adonai, Eloheinu Melech haolam, hamapil chevlei shena al einai utnuma al af'apai. Vihi ratzon milfanecha Adonai Elohai velohei avotai, shetashkiveni leshalom veta'amideni leshalom, ve'al yevahaluni ra'yonai vachalomot ra'im veharhorim ra'im, utehei mitati shelema lefanecha, veha'er einai pen ishan hamavet, ki Ata hame'ir le'ishon bat ayin. Baruch Ata Adonai, hame'ir la'olam kulo bichvodo.
Blessed are You, Adonai, our God, King of the universe, who casts the bonds of sleep upon my eyes and slumber upon my eyelids. May it be Your will, Adonai, my God and God of my ancestors, to let me lie down in peace and raise me up in peace; let me not be troubled by my thoughts, by bad dreams or by bad fancies; may my offspring be whole before You; and give light to my eyes lest I sleep the sleep of death, for You give light to the pupil of the eye. Blessed are You, Adonai, who gives light to the whole world in His glory.
Shema Yisrael, Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai Echad.
Hear, O Israel: Adonai is our God, Adonai is One.
Blessed be the name of His glorious kingdom forever and ever.
Hamal'ach hago'el oti mikol ra yevarech et hane'arim, veyikare vahem shemi veshem avotai Avraham veYitzchak, veyidgu larov bekerev ha'aretz.
May the angel who redeemed me from all harm bless the children; may my name be called upon them, and the names of my fathers Abraham and Isaac, and may they multiply like fish in the midst of the land.
