הִנֵּה אֵל יְשׁוּעָתִי אֶבְטַח וְלֹא אֶפְחָד

Hineh El yeshu'ati evtach velo efchad,

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid,

כִּי עָזִּי וְזִמְרָת יָהּ יְיָ. וַיְהִי לִי לִישׁוּעָה

ki azi vezimrat Yah Adonai, vayehi li lishu'a.

for Adonai is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation.

וּשְׁאַבְתֶּם מַיִם בְּשָׂשׁוֹן. מִמַּעַיְנֵי הַיְשׁוּעָה

Ush'avtem mayim besason mima'aynei hayeshu'a.

With joy you shall draw water from the wells of salvation.

לַייָ הַיְשׁוּעָה. עַל עַמְּךָ בִרְכָתֶךָ סֶּלָה

LAdonai hayeshu'a, al amecha virchatecha selah.

Salvation belongs to Adonai; Your blessing is upon Your people, selah.

יְיָ צְבָאוֹת עִמָּנוּ. מִשְׂגָּב לָנוּ אֱלֹהֵי יַעֲקֹב סֶלָה

Adonai tzeva'ot imanu, misgav lanu Elohei Ya'akov selah.

Adonai of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our stronghold, selah.

יְיָ צְבָאוֹת. אַשְׁרֵי אָדָם בֹּטֵחַ בָּךְ

Adonai tzeva'ot, ashrei adam botei'ach bach.

Adonai of hosts, happy is the one who trusts in You.

יְיָ הוֹשִׁיעָה. הַמֶּלֶךְ יַעֲנֵנוּ בְּיוֹם קָרְאֵנוּ

Adonai hoshi'a, hamelech ya'anenu veyom kor'enu.

Adonai, save us; may the King answer us on the day we call.

לַיְּהוּדִים הָיְתָה אוֹרָה וְשִׂמְחָה וְשָׂשׁוֹן וִיקָר. כֵּן תִּהְיֶה לָנוּ

Layehudim hayta ora vesimcha vesason vikar. Ken tihyeh lanu.

For the Jews there was light and gladness, joy and honor. So may it be for us.

כּוֹס יְשׁוּעוֹת אֶשָּׂא. וּבְשֵׁם יְיָ אֶקְרָא:

Kos yeshu'ot esa, uvshem Adonai ekra.

I will lift the cup of salvation and call upon the name of Adonai.

Over the wine

בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם. בּוֹרֵא פְּרִי הַגָּפֶן:

Baruch Ata Adonai, Eloheinu Melech haolam, borei pri hagafen.

Blessed are You, Adonai, our God, King of the universe, who creates the fruit of the vine.

Over the spices

בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם. בּוֹרֵא מִינֵי בְשָׂמִים:

Baruch Ata Adonai, Eloheinu Melech haolam, borei minei vesamim.

Blessed are You, Adonai, our God, King of the universe, who creates various kinds of spices.

Over the candle

בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם. בּוֹרֵא מְאוֹרֵי הָאֵשׁ:

Baruch Ata Adonai, Eloheinu Melech haolam, borei me'orei ha'esh.

Blessed are You, Adonai, our God, King of the universe, who creates the lights of fire.

בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעוֹלָם. הַמַּבְדִּיל בֵּין קֹדֶשׁ לְחוֹל. בֵּין אוֹר לְחשֶׁךְ. בֵּין יִשְׂרָאֵל לָעַמִּים. בֵּין יוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי לְשֵׁשֶׁת יְמֵי הַמַּעֲשֶׂה: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יְיָ. הַמַבְדִּיל בֵּין קֹדֶשׁ לְחוֹל:
