Kosher café at the Mittleman JCC, on Capitol Highway, serving the Garbonzos menu: falafel pitas, pizza, burgers, plates, soups and sides, all of it also vegan and halal. **Its kashrut is certified by Oregon Kosher**: dairy — with regular milk, not cholov yisroel — and parve. Open to the public Sunday to Friday. On Tuesdays it closes at 4.30 pm and reopens from 5.30 to 8 pm for a meat dinner, with a weekly menu. It takes Shabbat take-out orders until midnight on Monday, for pickup on Thursday from 3.30 to 5 pm in front of the JCC.
