About this place
Melilla's Jewish cemetery, built between 1869 and 1870 among the old forts: it is the first and oldest in Spain after the expulsion of 1492. It holds seventy-four burials and some forty visible graves, and the city is gradually opening it to visitors. Maps lists it under a different name and with the address of the next street over.
