The premise
KosherWorld does not decide what counts as "kosher enough": it shows the declared level of assurance of each place and you set your own bar. That is the whole philosophy.
The levels
With certification: The business is listed with kosher certification from a rabbinical authority. Check that the certificate is current and covers this branch. With supervision: Rabbinical supervision is reported for this business, but no certificate is published in the listing. Ask who supervises it and which products are covered. Self-declared kosher: the business’s own claim, with no certification or supervision substantiated in the listing. Unconfirmed: we have not confirmed its kosher status. No kashrut: Jewish traditional food that is not presented as suitable for people who eat kosher.
How to set it up
In the search, the "Kashrut level" filter lets you see the whole spectrum or cut it at "supervised or above" or "kosher certificate only". In Settings you can save your preference so the search always starts at your level. It is private: it stays on your device and you can change it whenever you want.
Try the level filter
Start at "supervised or above" and move the bar up or down until it fits you.
